Engineers first. Designers when it helps. People you can reach.
Fill in the Blank is a Dallas studio led by Greg Petersen, an Emmy-winning designer and platform engineer. We’ve worked with businesses across the US since 2009.
The whole project, in view.
We are primarily programmers and systems people. Most of what we do is the software a business runs on and the websites in front of it. Our design practice is led by an Emmy-winning designer, and on projects that call for brand or visual design we often work alongside a design firm and make sure their work holds up online.
You work directly with the people building the work. Questions get context. Ideas can move from a conversation into a working feature.
Experience that travels well.
Greg’s background includes NBC, Sabre, and First Command, with a Regional Emmy in 2004. The studio has also delivered enterprise work for IBM and other large accounts through agency partners.
Today our work spans business websites, storefronts, publishing tools, and operational platforms. Several client relationships have continued for more than a decade.
A practical way to work together.
We listen, recommend an approach, and put the scope and price in writing. We explain the tradeoffs and leave room for questions.
After launch, ongoing care keeps a team close that understands what was built and where it needs to go next.
Tell us what you need. We’ll send you three options.
A new website, a better workflow, or someone to take care of what you already have. Tell us where you want to go. We’ll reply with a scope and price for each approach, usually the same week.
